IMRT, or Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy, is an advanced form of radiotherapy in which the radiation intensity is adjusted across different areas of the treatment field. This technique makes it possible to deliver an accurate radiation dose in a three-dimensional shape matched to the size and position of the tumor.
VMAT, or Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy, is another type of intensity-modulated radiotherapy in which the machine rotates around the patient in an arc while the beam angle, intensity, and shape change at the same time.

SBRT, or Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy, is a highly precise technique used to treat small, well-defined tumors in organs such as the lungs, liver, spine, and pancreas. In this method, a high radiation dose is delivered in a limited number of sessions, usually between 1 and 5.
SRS, or Stereotactic Radiosurgery, is similar to SBRT but is used to treat brain lesions. In this method, a very high radiation dose is delivered to a specific area of the brain in one or a few short sessions.
CBCT, or Cone Beam Computed Tomography, is a three-dimensional imaging technique performed before each treatment session to determine the exact position of the tumor relative to the patient’s body.
All of the above techniques (IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS) require CBCT to achieve the highest possible precision.
4DCT, or Four-Dimensional Computed Tomography, is an advanced technique that, in addition to three-dimensional body imaging, also takes motion changes such as breathing into account. This technology is especially vital for treating moving tumors such as lung tumors.
